Why we exist
PROBLEM 1
Our regional trail network has no collective identity.
We have over 2000 miles of trails in Spokane and Kootenai Counties, but it’s difficult to talk about the network as a whole as an amenity to our area.

We’ve created a network identity.
The brand starts here, with what you see on this site. A branded network is promotable and searchable by visitors and residents alike.
PROBLEM 2
The user experience of our trails is fragmented.
The connections between trails are unclear, and the experience often suffers at municipal boundaries.

We’ll make paper and digital maps, and post signs
…so anyone in the area can discover trails and easily move between them.

Creating a cohesive trails experience across municipalities as any single, resource-constrained agency is challenging.

so we can move quickly to ensure the trails experience across municipalities is cohesive, and agencies can focus on putting trails in the ground.
WHO WE ARE
Lauren Pangborn
Co-founder
Lauren is a transportation and land use advocate, urbanist, and aspiring real estate developer. By day, she works in the tech industry, leading product design at a fintech startup.
You’ll find Lauren at city hall advocating for better bike, pedestrian, and transit infrastructure, writing columns for RANGE Media, and riding bikes for transport and recreation.
Hannah Gamiel
Co-founder
Hannah is the co-studio head and Development Director at the Spokane County-based Cyan Worlds, Inc., where she oversees business operations, production, platform strategy, engineering, and publisher relations.
Hannah has been a Spokane resident for over 15 years and loves exploring the Inland Northwest from her e-Bike.
